I guy i work with put a Ford V-6 in a garden tractor witha snow thrower on it. It will throw about a foot of snow over 50 feet!

the photos are making the rounds on the net.

The fellow has been interviewed on a few radio / TV  shows about this.

If you read the specs on heated control bars , etc ..... he did a neat job of cypherin on it.

The other one making the rounds has a 5.7, late model Hemi in (on?) it.  Ma Mopar had a contest for ideas of different things to be powered by Hemis.  My favorite is the grille.  http://www.gizmag.com/go/4397/
