I'm headed up to HAN on next Saturday or Sunday. Anyone else gonna be there?

Rented a Motor home and will drag the coupe behind it.

I may be up there for the final weekend. One of my high roller buddies has a block of suites at the Atlantis reserved and has me almost coerced into going. I was there the year they had the big riot, kinda soured it for quite a few people. To me it looked like the cops caused more problems than they solved. PM me a phone # maybe we can collide somewhere in the crowds.

I thought there were some BIG meetings held over the handling of the riot that year.

I too heard from people the cops did not really help the situation, yet some bull headed folks would not listen to the cops...... that usually does not go over well.

The riot crap was a few years ago. Everything has been cool since then. I wont be staying for the final weekend cause I gotta get back to LA for the Goodguys Race in Pomona.

You should, at least once. It's actually a good event. Sometimes it seems like every business and casino in the Reno/Sparks area with a decent sized parking lot has a car show going on. The first year I went it looked to me like every hot rod in the western US was there. When you decide to go, make your room reservations many months in advance. If I make it up there I'll snap some pics.

It was great. Nights were cool and the cars were too.

The FONZ, Henry Winkler just moved there and was one of the many celebs there.

Got see a lot of cars I had not seen before and ran into a few people I knew from other parts of the country.

My coupe did just fine and made all the cruz nights til I left Thursday.
