Vance,  Our youngest son Andrew went to Knoxville last year, it was on Seedvision and we taped it and got to see him in the crowd behind the flagman.  He said it was the greatest and even brought home a rear tire off of Steve Kinser's car along with a bunch of other neat stuff!!  He's got it sittin on top of his entertainment center in his room, and says they're going back this year too!!     Bill

Back when the Mrs. let me have a sprinter, Sammy Swindell
was my Idol. smooth driving, patient, calculating.

I tried to copy his style. then came the "big accident"

I will be living vicariously thru Dave.
hopefully when they come to Dallas, maybe the Mrs will
give me a weekend pass.............if I'm good.

"sometimes you gotta turn right to go left"

seriously Dave, have fun, post a pix or two.

Missed the Royal and seeing the King trump the field but I will be at the Eldora Mopar wingless show after spending Thurs., Fri and Sat AM at Louisville NSRA. From Eldora its on to Oskie and the Knoxville Nats. Several prior trips to Louisville Nats, many times to Knoxville. I'll have beer and will share!

Ha!   left the camera in the truck. A good weekend of racing though. The hilight was hitting the pits after the race and watching stevie smiths hauler almost take the front end off from tony stewerts denali >>> Tony walked right by me smiling as he headed to the denali to head back to louden.
He has made a bunch of improvements at the track and were hearing more to come like all new grand stands and pay to camp but good toilets in the camping grounds. Good for TONY !
Im still getting back to normal. The kids said I drank too much saturday evening but I told em couldnt remember
I did catch a cold and that sucks.
We saw a couple hard crashes but no one hurt (thats good) the track kinda sucked friday but saturday it was real fast. I was glad to see steve win it . We talked to him here at i 96 speedway last summer atfer they called the races for rain and he is a real good   guy and nice to talk to. we met a canadian WOO team and I talked to Brian Paulis's crew chief for about an hour saturday night on the 2006 starter requirement and other issues. I got a lot of good info and he was real nice also. After I told him I used to wrench a pavement sprint we got talking about all the new stuff and he wasnt shy about telling me what is new and what works.
FUN FUN FUN....
Dave
ps: on the 2006 starter issue he said no way in hell will we see clutches and starters  Sure hope he is right
