I have a bunch of catalogs.  Like many ppl I gather them up at various rod runs.

I am thinking of throwing most of them out to rid my house of extra stuff I don't need....  with online catalogs and information from members at various internet boards,  I see no need to keep all of the common parts catalogs.

I have some vintage catalogs i will keep.

Do you ppl pack-rat  or try to weed out stuff?  I have catalogs that i have never used or some I have not looked at in 1-3 years.

I keep old catalogues until I replace them from the same vendor

It depends on the catalog. most hot rod stuff, I discard the old catalogs. For replacement parts catalogs, I keep a variety of the old ones around. Sometimes they discontinue the listing, but the part is still made for later model stuff. Unless you have the old catalog with the listing, there is no way to tell.

I tossed out about 1/3 of them.  Seems like I still have too many.
