Does anybody know the correct dimension to install the tv cable on a carb from the butterfly pivot point  going up for a push type instead of a pull type ? I'm using a metal rod that came out of an early 80's ford.

Does anybody know the correct dimension to install the tv cable on a carb from the butterfly pivot point  going up for a push type instead of a pull type ? I'm using a metal rod that came out of an early 80's ford.

I went through that and discovered that is sure is a heck of a lot easier to get a Lokar conversion kickdown cable. One end bolts to the trans, the carb end comes with a manifold mount and cable adaptor to go onto the 'pull' part of the carb linkage. Yeah, it's overpriced but if you count the number of saved hours it's wotrth it.
