mopar trans interchange?

anybody have a hollander handy?
here's what i got;
68 charger 4 speed
71 challenger that was a 340 car, now getting a 440.
mounts are taken care of but i want to know if theres a difference in the tailshaft as far as shifter location.
not being a mopar guy, it's new teritory....

any help?

Since a 4 speed is a factory option and the shifter extension on a B body floorpan doesn't change regardless of the engine displacement, I'd say you don't have to worry.
That A block trans won't fit the B block, though.  I believe there's a difference in diameter with regards to the front bearlng.  Make sure the bellhousing fits snugly on the bearing retainer because that's what centers the transmission.
