Anyone Around (S. Ontario) Want This: Old Allen Analyser..

Old Allen Analyser and Scope. This was a pretty good unit in it's day!

  The unit is a couple of feet wide..and about 1 1/2 feet high or so.
  Purtty heavy! The scope mounts on top with large hand knobs.
  It also had a light with adjustable advance.

  Full feautured..cylinder balance,advance etc. Yes! It did work with electronice ignition. It was powerful enough it worked with a "Hi Hat" pickup that was just a mettallic clip on thinggy.

  Last time I used it it did work! That was..umm..in the late 90's.
I do not know where the light is now?? OR the main cable?? I WILL probably find them at some point.

  Maybe just a nostalgia item..or for parts.

i just ran across the old owners manual and Repair manual for my former marquette M200 scope that was destroyed in the northridge quake where it fell over and landed face first on a small block chevy block...  not a good day...

  I did contact Allen quite a long time ago..they offerred me a couple of hundred for it..for parts.(Toronto area). I called them again quite a few years ago and they said there was no demand even for the parts..and it was worthless.

  For someone HERE on the RRT..it is free . I don't mind helping someone out HERE see about getting it to them . I can store it here forever for them

  If noone out here wants it..I guess I will try and sell it for a few bucks.

   Giving it away to ANYONE ELSE? FORGET THAT :evil:

    Giving stuff away up here..Toronto area..to strangers..

   I am not near London...and not in SW Ontario. I am about
1 hr 15 min directly N of Toronto Airport. About 45 min directly W of Barrie.

  There is a guy in London who owes me a tire..he is supposed to be getting it to me in the next few months I also have a buddy in Mississauga I see the odd time. Maybe we could work something out
you pick up the tire and I meet you at my buddies in Mississauga.

  Maybe even better. I need to go to Brantford the odd time.
Meet up around Cambridge.

  I advertise it..end up dropping the price..deal with a ton of nonsense..
ask everyone that I know if they want it for free..

  Stuff I USED to make money on..makes me shake my head when I have to haul it to the landfill.

   I just looked at that analyser the other day and said..time for that to go.Not much point in even trying to advertise it. Especially around here.

I'm  an old school apprentice (finished in 1965) and grew up in the trade rebuilding an repairing stuff.  With any luck at all I will get this scope working.
