Just finishing up the motor for the 36.....It's a crate SBC and there are several ports in the intake manifold that I won't be using.I plan to plug them with threaded stainless steel plugs.I have used Teflon tape to seal the plug/sending unit threads as well as a Teflon paste in the past but seems I read recently that the Teflon has an adverse effect on the accuracy of the sending units?Just wondering what you guys use?I am also going to try a set of the speed bleeders for the first time....do I need a sealant on the bleeder threads? Thanks!!

Teflon tape interferes with the ground on temperature senders. You can use teflon paste.  If you are installing it into an aluminum manifold, use never seize.

No sealant is necessary with speed bleeders.

anti-sieze works well when a ground connection  is needed for a sensor
