Can anyone direct me to a -->'simple'<--  DIY wiring plan, for a 700R4. (pictures, explanation of pressures in gear, etc).  

I have a Jasper Class II, installed a number of years ago, configured for manual 4th lockup only.  It was remanned from an 84 Police version. It works fine, but gets too hot in the current application.

I'd like to try both  3rd & 4th  and  2nd, 3rd & 4th to see what's better.

Do you have a transmission cooler on it?  If not I would get one on it.  Mine runs 135-140 all the time with a cooler and most of the time I'm pulling a 1700 lb. teardrop.  I only run the lockup in 4th, but you could run it in 3rd if you don't run in 4th.
