Anyone used one of these? Looks like a really great product as long as it's well built and durable. On the other hand, it's expensive compared to a cheap distributor, more reasonable compared to a quality distributor, and right in the ballpark compared to a quality distributor plus an ignition box like an MSD.

The idea of being able to quickly dial in the numbers you want using a phone app sounds and looks great, though once it's set up you're unlikely to ever touch it again....unless you're a serious drag racer.

I have never heard of them before . System sounds too good to be true ? Odd that they dont seem to have marketed through racing ? Any idea what this costs? I kind of hope this is legit .

I see no reason for it not to work. Bluetooth is everywhere. A chip so small you might need a magnifier is probably running it. Think about how many engines will be broken before people figure out the limits. :)

They're currently priced at $569.00, so not cheap, but right in the price range of a quality distributor plus an MSD box. Or any other high end distributor.

I encountered it on the maverick.to message boards. Someone over there is using one. He's really pleased with how easily he was able to dial in his idle advance, total advance, and all-in point. Without touching anything he was able add advance until he got a little preignition and back it out, and back out a few degrees of initial timing without affecting anything else.
