I ended up with a broke Craftsman air compressor, 2 piston unit ...  These oil less compressors have a limited life span : 200 to 250 hours I have read.

Any who : the tank is good.  Look at the 2nd photo and you willl see remnants of 1 piston that blew apart.

I have a smaller 20 gallon, dual piston  air compressor where the pump has oil and stuff like the compressors we are familiar with  8)

I doubt the small compressor would like to fill up the larger tank?  Looked around for real compressor and motor by its'self to retro fit this broken unit.  With money prices I see, I'd just by a full  compressor

I am looking around.

Feedback on Harbor Freight pumps could be a bit better?

I know of one fellow locally who used a Harbor Freight pump for a replacement and he was happy.

I did not mention or post photo ... This Budget air compressor is a direct drive setup on the oil phreee pump.

I would need to mount oil lubed pump and motor to spin the pump..   Not tough to do. Just more costs $
