The National Street Rod Association (NSRA) is excited to announce the addition of two new events to their 2024 event schedule. The NSRA is a leading organization in the street rod industry and is committed to providing high-quality events for street rod enthusiasts across the country.
The first new event on the NSRA 2024 schedule is the Mobile Bay Street Rod Nationals. This event will be held at The Grounds in Mobile, Alabama on June 28th & 29th, 2024. The Mobile Bay Street Rod Nationals will bring together street rod enthusiasts from across the region to showcase their vehicles, enjoy live entertainment, and participate in other fun activities.
The second new event is the Quad Cities Street Rod Nationals. It will be held at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, Iowa on August 16th & 17th, 2024. The Quad Cities Street Rod Nationals will be a great opportunity for street rod enthusiasts in the Midwest to come together and share their passion for the hobby.
In addition to the new events, the NSRA is also making changes to the Street Rod Nationals South at Chilhowee Park & Exposition in Knoxville, TN. Beginning in 2024, the Street Rod Nationals South will change to a two-day event. The event dates for Knoxville next year will be May 3rd & 4th.

We are thrilled to be adding these two new events to our 2024 schedule. The Mobile Bay Street Rod Nationals and Quad Cities Street Rod Nationals will be great opportunities for street rod enthusiasts to come together and celebrate their love of the hobby. We are also excited to be making changes to the Street Rod Nationals South in Knoxville and look forward to continuing to provide high-quality events for street rod enthusiasts across the country."

Interesting.  The shows have been in a state of decline since before they allowed newer cars into the show.  I have been thinking about purchasing a 1990 Corvette from my neighbor.  I realized just yesterday that I could take it to a NSRA event. That just seems wrong.

We have not attended a large car event in several years. With newer cars allowed in , something seems lost to me.

One of the last Good-guys events in Snotsdale AZ was after the year change to 1973 (?) 1975 allowed...  A buddy brought in his 4x4 suburban that was outside the max year as I recall.  He was 1 year out from the year allowed after changes made..  By mid morning he was asked to leave because of the year of his Suburban.

Guess I am lost in the past?  January this year I looked at entry prices for Barrett Jackson auction.  We have not been there in 10 yrs I bet. My wallet jumped out of my pocket and hid under the bed as I read the entry prices for various days to the auction. Its not an auction now.  It is a life style event I guess?
