I am amazed what these guys do with rudimentary tools to repair these trucks. The are making new frame rails basically by hand using only a hydraulic press they built in another video. They hot rivet them back together by hand too. They also build dump beds, flat decks, and cargo vans again using hand tools and a Hydraulic press and sheet steel. Check it out. They have a ton of videos.

I wonder what the capacity of the press is?

Thanks for sharing. It amazing what they do with simple hand tools and a hydraulic press.

Rivet removal was my favorite. Takes a lot of trust. That was some smooth teamwork though and wow what a gigantic whole operation.

Plenty of work there.

I sit here wondering.  How strong the frame repair is?  It appears the steel is run of the mill steel the way it is bent and hammered into shape. I do not see anything heat treated.

Stick welding in the rain on wet dirt?  Not me.

Well, they are adding 6 mm on the inside and 6mm on the outside so there is 3/4" of steel when they are done. If you watch some of the other videos it is interesting how much weight they add just for decoration.
