I had lunch thursday with a high school friend I had not seen in 54 years. We has spoke on the phone, and by email for the last few years but that was it. It's kind of amazing but we were the same places at the same time, but never crossed paths. It was an enjoyable afternoon.

Glad you had a good reunion.  Funny how you learn people were so close yet so far.

I had a fellow contact me thru the Facebook social media place a few months back.  I had not seen or heard from him since early 1980's.  We worked together , run around , rode motorcycles together.  We were emailing , then that slowed down and  stopped.

With the emails I got the impression he had opened a door thru Facebook and did not know how to close it.  It was some  comments he made that gave me that impression.

Last weekend my wife dragged/drug me to her 55th high school reunion. They had a DJ & age appropriate music for dancing. After a while the DJ said " some of you are going to have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning"
