I saw that and a comparison of Jessel's engine on some youtube show. Today's technology make almost anything you can imagine possible. My 1st 392 T/F engine made about 1500 hp. Years later my blown alky engine was doing the same but without the magic that is inherently "nitro". :)

That is a modern blown alcohol engine! 2.85 intake valves, over 1" valve lift, 500cc intake ports, 1600 valve spring pressure, it's a whole new world.

I read about Moran's engine a while back.  Darn impressive workmanship , engineering.  I would be curious on the dollars invested.

I know the dollar amount we have invested in some projects at work : such as a billet valve body for powerglide. I also know the shelf location that project is sitting on after a problem wall came up.  It is due to come off the shelf this summmer if my thinking is correct
