Anyone know where else I can look for leaf springs for my 63? Kanter has a pair for about $660 for the pair, with front bushings in place, but no rear. Rock Auto has a pair for about $466, but no front bushings in stock. They have the rear kits for ~$25. Kanter doesn't give any info, except that they are for (I think) 60 to 80 Fords. RA says 5 leaf springs, and my car has 4.

This company  https://www.generalspringkc.com/Leaf_Springs_Ford_Galaxie_s/1903.htm  has the springs for $99 each, they may have the bushings too. If not Macs has the bushing kits for $89

Thanks Frank. I also found a set at Summit for the same price; comes with the front bushing, bought the two rear shackle kits. General has bolts for about $8 each, but the spring pads are out of sight, no matter where you buy them. More for the pads than the spring itself. I'll keep looking for those two items, as I'm not in a hurry.

What style bolts do you need? I think I have a set that have the collar at the end of the threads out of a 64.

Best I can tell is they are 1/2"x 20, inner width is 3", height from bottom of threads to inner top is about 6 1/2", but I'm four leafs and the new ones are supposed to be 5. All the bolts I've seen are about 6.5 to 6.75. I read on a forum that the 2 door hardtops had 4 leafs, sedans 5 and wagons had 6.

I'll measure them, but If I recall correctly these are for a wagon.

Frank, I found U-bolts at O'Reilly's if I need them. They are longer, so I'll have to cut them shorter. I'm waiting until I install the new springs to see if my bolts will be long enough or not. O'Reilly can have the bolts here the next day if I do need them.

Thanks.
