I toured the Universal Technical Institute campus in Phoenix today. It is an impressive facility to say the least. We observed the diesel truck lab, GM lab, dyno cells, and  high performance areas but what I want to share on this forum is the custom engine building lab.

Here you have a wide selection of components to assemble an engine of your own specification. Then you install it in one of the T buckets there and take it over to the chassis dyno. After you run it in and make your power pulls you can make changes as you wish to try to improve on the numbers. This is way too much fun to be school to me.

After seeing the labs, classrooms and observing classes and students I would highly recommend looking into UTI if a career in the automotive field is in your future.

I have pictures but they won't load.

Your pictures are probably too big.  I think they have to be 640x480 pixels.
I survived the Hyfrecator 2000.
