Which way should the cupped washers for the strut rod bushings on a Mustang 2 IFS be turned?    Looking online there doesn't seem to be any agreement as to whether they should have the cup towards the bushing or away from it.

Any thought?

Thanks for any insight you can offer.

I have always put the "cupped" part of the  washer toward the bushing ..
Even in the mid 60's Fords & later Econolines....The cupped part always goes toward the bushing ....  8)

My Fords with strut rods always had the cupped side toward the bushings from the factory.

That is what seemed the most logical to me, but thought I would check to be sure.   Thanks for the input. );b(
