Getting ready to continue on the Coupe body work. I discovered that my can of tinning butter is dried out. I cannot find a supplier for the Duco brand I always used... Any recommendations for an available substitute??

Rrumbler

Only thing I can think of is to check the local welders supply - or maybe a radiator repair shop for a recommendation.
Rrumbler - Older, grouchier, broken; but not completely dead, yet.

The ones I am finding most popular is Eastwood tinning butter, and Harris Stay Clean.

Frank, Have you used the Eastwood? As far as I can determine it is a repackaged Johnson product.

No I have not. Johnson is another name that came up. The last time I leaded was 25 years ago, with my grandad, and we used 60/40 acid core solder to tin, with a white gas blow torch.

Eastwood doesn't make a lot of their own stuff,
it's mostly repackaged, at a premium.

I use Johnsons' Tin-Eezy Butter' and try some of thier liquid flux too.
