41 chevy coupe question

Im new to this forum, My question is for my 41 chevy coupe Im installing a 7 booster and dual master with a port valve on my fire wall, Im lookng for a brake assembly for my firewall. In fact I need a acelerator pedal and throttle cable. Any help would be great  Thanks Jeff

Having done this before, I would suggest using the dual diaphragm 7" booster, rather than the single diaphragm.  If you are using GM brakes, a 2000 S10 master cylinder is 1" bore and fairly compact.

For the pedal assembly I like an older F100 or F150 pedal and bracket. the pivot point is nice and high, so you can set the booster higher away from the engine. Tie the bracket into the dashboard, and steering column to get rid of all flex.

I add a reinforcement plate inside the firewall, usually 1/8" steel, from the toe board, up to the top of the firewall.

A 90s escort has a nice throttle pedal that bolts to the inside of the firewall, with just a hole for the cable needed.

I have a similar setup in my '46 Chevy.  '41-'48 are essentially the same from the firewall back.  To help reinforce the firewall I also added about a 1/8" plate in the area of the master cylinder.  There is a bracket that the dash bolts to at each lower corner by the A-pillar.  I took a length of 1" square tubing that runs from one bracket to the other and then bolted the dash back in place and replaced the original bolts with longer ones to go through the tubing.  It is completely hidden by the dash.  The pedal assembly I used came from GM car but I can't remember the make/model but it was an early '80's RWD car, possibly a Malibu.  The stock brake pedal bracket had brace that went to the dash that I hade to modify slightly to bolt to the tubing.  This stopped all the flexing of the firewall that occurs when mounting a master to it.
The tubing also gives you something to mount other items to under the dash such as an A/C unit or fuse panel.
