My brothers father in law passed away last year and since my sister in law was the only survivor she and my brother had to deal with the estate. One thing my brother ended up with was this neat little torch. He had no use for it and asked me if i wanted it. His father in law had studied to become a denture maker in the 50's and this torch had something to do with that. He never became a denture maker instead working at the power plant in Muskegon Mi. for his whole career. this thing looks like it's never been lit and it might be handy for some jobs. I just have to figure out how the hoses attach, it has only barbed fittings on the handle.

i could not read the part number off the box...

so i could find you an exact users manual...

seems to be a lot of uses for that in the glass blowing ...

might make a whole new carer for you..  got any glass rods to play with???

it is used in the dental profession also..

I did a little Google research on it too Wayne and I see they are still being made, nearly identical. I see now they are about $100 for just the basic torch setup. Mine has a setup sheet with it and the price is $8.50 for the torch and three tips. Must be from the mid fifties, that's when the original owner was at school for dentures.

It resembles the Meco Midget that's currently sold. The downside is I think a small torch like that needs regulators that control well at low pressures like 2 stage style. That could ramp up the expense. Great for light work and sheet metal.
