Need Downs body info.

Does anybody have any exp. with the Downs glass version of the Dearborn Deuce roadster with the fold up top?

Nothing. Timeless Rods bought the tooling and makes a clone and a modified version. I was about to order one and then read that some people made deposits and didn't get bodies so I decided to wait for awhile.

I gave Timeless a call yesterday just to see whats up. None in stock, being made by Bebop (supposedly) and with top, windshield, power windows and trunk they want 14.5 with a 4 week delivery date. Hummmmmm! I wonder if the price is negotiable as I thought I saw complete car(s) being offered for around 30, including around a 10% discount.
Based on recent treads, I think I'd want to pick it up in person for cash and save delivery costs, if you know what I mean.
