For any of you that are going to the salt and haven't been before I would suggest getting some plastic sheeting, like 4 to 6 mil that is use in house construction or plastic tarp material.  Cut it to fit the floor and up the sides of the interior of your car and duct tape it in place.

Salt isn't just a problem on the outside of the car, but you will track it into the car off your shoes.  The salt has been harder and dryer the last couple years, but it is still a problem.  It is really hard to get out of carpeting.

If you are renting a car cut a piece about 4 X 7 feet and fold it up and take it with you along with some duct tape.  Might save you a big cleaning fee at the car rental.

When you leave the salt, just rip it all out and throw it away.

c ya all soon,

Thanks for the tip, I don't think I will be the only newby there and we can use all the help we can get.

See you there.  Looks like we are heading out in the morning on Friday now, so should get there mid afternoon I would think.
