That looks like a good idea. Is the running boards not fitting another one of those many details that didn't come out quite right or did someone else supply the boards?

The boards are made for stock fenders, the fenders we are using are 2" wider. Now you would think they would made the wider fenders to fit stock boards, but not so.  At this point with the fenders painted, and the boards chrome plated, I did not have a bunch of choices.
