2003 GMC key won't turn

We put the wrong key into the ignition and now it wont turn. It slipped right in and right back out. Any suggestions?

My guess, take the right key and unlock both doors, then retry!

Got it. This has happened before to this truck . Put a new Dodge key in and it wrecks the tumblers. Tap Tap Tap with the hammer and some PB blaster and it works.
