To the world you\'re just one person; but to one person, you might be the world.

I got the pin out of an old, year unknown, GMC hood that I want to use the sides for on a boattail body. I used a good dose of Kroil and some time, then
started the pin moving by driving a similar sized rod against one end till it was an inch or so into the hinge with that much of the old pin sticking out the outher end. then i grabbed the piece sticking out and bent it 90* and twisted and pulled it out the rest of the way. Of course it ruined hte pin, but it could be done without bending the pin,it would just take a little longer. it

After driving it out far enough to grab, it put a drill motor on it. It will come out nicely. Larry

As Kroil said, lots of penetrating oil and a good soak.  If you can drive it out enough to hook a reversable variable speed drill on to it.  Use the drill to spin the rod and slowly pull out while spinning with the drill.
