Fuel Injection line

Wayne ....Any idea what fuel pressure those Caddy's had that used the GF62C filter ?? I have a couple of the frame mount GMC Truck bases that use that same canister & filter set-up.. I wonder if they will hold up with the the 55 lbs needed for a tuned port system???
They are set up for 3/8" inverted flare tubing ....

the caddy shacks had 38 PSI... but when the fuel lines plugged up... i have blown the bowl off the filter... comes off like a shot gun blast.. followed by a pint or more of gasoline...

a really zen moment...

will it blow up or not...

these are the specs on the 79 eldo pump.. i wonder what the max pressure is of your pump.

Where can I find the Airtex pump spec's for my applications ?? ( 1990 Camaro or Firebird 350---5.7)

Looks like the tuned port pump max pressure is less than the Caddy pump .. The flow rate is greater by 2 GPH....Looks like maybe we have a winner :?: What do you think :?:

Boy ...Is THAT going to my my chassis plumbing easier ......

they are two totally different pumps..

the caddy pump is an external pump....

the camaro pump in an in tank high pressure pump...

I know the Caddy pump is external ... My thought is to use the Caddy style filter housing, ( See photo) in line after the in tank Camero fuel pump.. According to the spec, it should handle the pressure as the Camero pump max pressure seems to be lower than the Caddy ...

Am I thinking correctly :?:
