Chevy tailgates

Can anybody here tell me the heights of 34-39 and 41-53 tailgates? Mar-K  has some really nice stainless check straps that I would like to use. I called for tech help and they told me these  were for specific apps only.

A 47 to 53 tailgate is 15 3/4" high. The strap smay be made for a specific application, but it's not a big deal to modify them. I has to modify the ones I used because of the louvered cover on this tailgate, even though this was the correct aplication. You need about 9" in height, and a space of 5/8" between the end of the tailgate and the bed side.
