We also must remind the current younger generation  to never forget  this date....    It's on the same level as 9/11........

Ugly;

9/11 attack was an attack on the innocent people of this country.

Pearl Harbor attack was an attack on our Military.

Some folks are already trying to down play the attack on September 11.

We must never forget these events.  I do not mean to be a pain in the back side as i post something about Pearl Harbor each year.

Pearl was an attack on America and so was 9/11. The difference, IMHO, is Pearl was done by the Japanese military and 9/11 was civilian not military attackers

My only thought was that they were both done with out warning ..... :x

You are correct.  These attacks can be viewed several different ways, the results are the same.

THe Japanese attacked our military at a base

The non military combatants  attacked our civilians and military at the Pentagon.  THe White house was spared via an apparent passenger uprising  on the last airplane
