I think you will need to instal the voltmeter in your dash, downside up, so that it will monitor your battery accurately.

I think that doing this will cause your battery to DRAIN even without leaving any accessories on, NOT Ed ke6bnl

Ha ha, all good ones..
Maybe i will put the volt meter upside down, see how many people notice, the show them the battery.
I figure it will make it real easy to disconnect the battery in the event of rolling the thing !!!!
