spring hanger bushing

I had to cut the bushing out of my '47 Ford rear end where the spring mounts to it. We had made nylon bushings for it last year BUT they wore so badly I couldn't get them out. Any good ideas for replacements?

I've used plastic bushings from Mac's with no problems.
