window frame

What is the easiest was to separate a window frame from the window without damaging the frame or glass.  I need to remove the lower frame from quarter window of 47 Chevy ragtop to repair the pivot.

I'd use a plastic hammer & ablock of soft wood. It's snowing here Ken, Bunny Run weather!

It helps to have four hands, two to hold the glass, and two to tap the frame off the glass. I agree with the plastic mallet and a block of wood.
