with either of those tires and most others  I need to modify the front of the wheel opening at the rocker panel.  The tire clearance there is close.  These cars had 13 inch wheels originally

Current tires are about 24.75 inches tall  on a 15x6 inch wheel.  So , changes are in order for the wheel well opening.

For more room inside ,  the  leaf springs need to be moved in.

Here's a very nice Falcon Ranchero a friend of mine runs.

In the staging lanes at the airport drags November before last.

Car runs 10's with a Windsor that may be 347", not sure there.
Looks like high nines are reachable.

He's a Falcon nut, has another street driven Falcon Ranchero.
This one has a 302 Windsor and runs 14's on street tires.

If that wasn't enough, he's building a Pinto with 302 and aiming for a 12 second bracket class with it.

When you get ready for some bigger slicks, I have a pair of 10" x 14" slot mags you may be able to use.

Or 7" x 14".

Or 6" x 14".

Etc.....

Dart owned by another pal.

Runs 89 mph in the 14's last I heard.
He sold it and I believe it's in Las Vegas now.
