I have seen several guys on here now do the same as me and buy some used modern seats that are full of electrical options.

In my case, mine were out of a Lexis and they had a special "seat controller" that went into the switch assembly on the sides of the seat.

After looking at the motors they are just plain 12vdc motors. So I was going to build my own switch assembly to control the motors directly.

I talked to the tech guy at HayWire at the Nats to see what switches he recommended and he steered me over to Wise Guys seats that sold me a switch assembly.

I'll figure out what wire goes where and should have a professional looking setup working shortly!

I used early 80's Cad bases for my seats. I put the controls that were on the arm rest on a bracket I made that's attached underneath the front of the seat
Some days it\'s not worth chewing through the restraints.

I used a set of Escalade pwr. seats in my 47 Ford coupe. A small change in position helps quite a bit on a trip. The fold down armrests help too.
