Might be old news by now, but I saw a new segment of Car Crazy last week, about Bonneville Speed Week. When they got to the part with the folks cruising the hotel parking lots, a Big Olds cruised by. A very familiar looking Big Olds. Also saw a familiar patina green deuce roadster, which if I'm not mistaken, belongs to one DRD57. Cool.

Rodder's Roundtable / 55 Poncho for sale locally

No, not bashing 4 doors, I just like coupes. That flamed one is a beauty. Makes me think again, $300 is not that much and I might just have room to store it...
Same guy has, I think he said, an early 70's Buick Invicta Convert (does that sound right?) with all the bells and whistles and power accessories. Gee, there's my motor, tranny, and gizmos for the Poncho.

Rodder's Roundtable / 55 Poncho for sale locally

I ran into a guy at the hardware store, when he saw my car he asked if i would be interested in a 55 Pontiac 4 door that needs lots of work. Had to go take a look, the asking price is way low. This one's stored in the open air, no motor or trans. The only rust is two spots in the front floor. Has the pink slip. Looks like Riviera or Wildcat rims, 4 of them. Needs windshield and some side glass. No one has been dancing on the roof...yet.
If it were a 2 door I would already have it in my yard. But, too many projects to take on another. Hmmm wonder what DRD could do with this? A very long vert? shorten and chop?

Rodder's Roundtable / Agreed value insurance

I might have misread a comment about the trailer issue. Hagerty most definitely prohibits trailers and camping, but going back over what I've found so far now I can't see the trailer mentioned in the Grundy website. One of my friends on another forum made a comment about Hagerty that read like info about Grundy and I mis understood him.
Thanks for all the info. I'll call Grundy to discuss and if they aren't nervous about trailers I'll probably go with them.

I'm getting ready for some traveling and I want to switch to an agreed value policy for my wagon. So far I've looked at Hagerty (no trailers, no camping), Grundy (no trailers) and JC Taylor (3500 miles per year max).
Anyone know of an outfit that will offer agreed value without the mileage/use limits, and isn't afraid of camping or towing a trailer? Where the Plymouth goes, the teardrop follows.

Welcome back Don, or is that Welkommen?
Great shots, makes up for me not getting to the show this year. A friend from Fla stopped in on his way back home, he flew out for the show, found something to drive home in, tore up his plane ticket and hit the highway.

Well, I've gone and done it now. As if it weren't enough keeping up with the Momad, Bronco, and Motorsickle, I bought this little beauty for Christmas. Hope the photo shows up. It's a 1939 Allis-Chalmers. Note the gasser-like stance due to the big truck tires in back. Somebody stop me!
