Give Citric Acid a go as well. I have used Molasses, but the smell, plus the little comments from my neighbours, drove me away from it.  Mix it in the same quantities as the Molasses and it'll work just fine and it's a little quicker than the molasses as well. I get my Citric acid off ebay if I'm making a big mix, or if only wanting a small amount, from a Home Brew shop or Hardware shops (It's used as a concrete scrub/etcher)

Any one on here come from this area, who could look at a car for me? (Or maybe know or own it)

I've also heard of blokes putting a short length of steel brake tube inside the fitting. The tube compresses a bit as the fittings are tightened and that stops the air issue in the fitting. Hadn't heard of using the polyethylene tubing before.

Hi guys, some quite a while ago I remember seeing an add in a Street Rodder (?) magazine from an American company/Rod Shop who was making Fiberglass '27 Tudor Bodies. Does anyone know if they are still produced or who the company was? I am interested in building one up as my next project and for what I have in mind it would be a shame to cut up a steel body. No one makes them here in Australia, that I am aware of.

Good luck with it all Frank. My Mum is 92 and like phat's she has no interest in going to live with all them old people. Also legally blind, have to repeat everything numerous times before she hears/understands, and has trouble walking further than a few yards, but steadfastly refuses to move in with "other old people", instead remains in her Unit, alone. Thankfully the Doctors took her licence off her many years ago.

Mind you, I think I'll buck pretty hard when the time comes to hand my licence in as well. But then that's different isn't it? I mean I'll be able to handle a car no worries, not like all them other old sods.

Mate, don't most warranties last for a year? That's when most of my stuff starts breaking down, just after about a year.
