Ripper, only 2 issues of HRD were ever produced. There was a preview issue I believe that came out with a regular issue of Hot Rod but it was more of an insert.

Your plan for the interior sounds good......stick with it.

There's RARELY a bad colour.......it's HOW it's used where it all goes wrong (i.e like painting p/s pumps, wiper motors, bumpers, etc.). Seems to be a case of "well, I bought 3 gallons so I thought I'd better use it all".

FWIW, I had a concept vehicle painted in a copper 9 years ago.....and the moment it was done (as good as it looked) I thought it was going to date quickly. I was wrong actually......still looks good!!

And I felt special for a second when you invited us HAMBers over.....

I only got to speak to Mr. Shaw ONCE......he just started yakkin' to me. Had a bit of a chuckle about somethin' and that was it....always wished I'd had the opportunity to meet the man again and introduce myself. Came across straight away as a pretty good bloke.

Will be a strange thing NOT to see his face around the traps.
