Rodder's Roundtable / Sold the 32 and Bought a 1936 Chev
February 18, 2007, 09:29:25 PM
Because of the weather where I live in Australia, I decided to sell the 32 Bucket and by a 1936 Chev Sedan, Aussie Built.
Below is my 32 I sold, along with a couple of pics of the 36 Chev and the Donor car I bought for the build. The donor car is a XJS Jag, 350 chev, T400 box, and Jag front and rear ends. Let the built begin.
Sorry for the dial up guys.

Quote from: "Mr Cool"I got a cheque (check) in the mail a while back, with an order for some gear, total value AU$28k, the cheque was for US$25k which is around US$33.5k.
Straight away I was suspicious, even though it was a cashiers cheque.
Anyway, I banked it and guess what? It was made of rubber.
Fortunately I wasnt charged any fees by my bank, and I didnt send anything either.
I had the cheque returned to me and I framed it, along with the letter from my bank and hung it on the wall. Its certainly a conversation piece on what couldve been.
Thats the 4th time I've heard that story Mr Cool, and every version is different. Ya tosser

Mate, I didnt see any of you at all, except Boris on my way home.
And then I only had time to say hi.
You would have seen the for sale sign on the 32, and my MOBILE NUMBER, so why didnt one of you tossers ring me.
I could have swore at you all in person.
So lets see the pictures.   Or did they get wet.

...and just as I was getting in my car I saw Charlie Falzon go past. Glad I didn't miss this chance. Shot of the day I reckon. :)

Thats the guy I was asking if he knew you Boris and if he could point you out to me, he said he hadnt seen you, he was with 2 women.
I met him at the Bathurst swap meet recently, he knew my 32 and some of the previous owners.
