Nice pics brootal, glad you liked our display of cardboard and pizza boxes
I took a few pics but never got round to putting them on the site, here's one of a different view, getting to the exibition building in one peice, dodging crazy * taxi drivers and other loony drivers. It was amazing how much attention a bare metal merc gets driving around town
OK time for a post hijack Trying out something here. This is Tony's black and Silver "Black Widow" fiddy seven chevy doing what it does best at the Hot Rod Rumble. IF you were at the BBQ here on the friday night you would of heard him "practising" in my court as he left These are screenshots of a video i took, anybody know how to upload videos here?

I thought about taking the tank cover away, but i kinda wanted the car to have a lakes look to it, so its "Streamlined" 37 truck Grille and sides grafted to a 34 hood, and stock 37 wheels.

Rodder's Roundtable / How about an art thread?

I guess its sorta art in some way. Been building these things for about a year and a half-2 years now, lotsa fun creating cars wishing you could build in 1:1!
My F-1 "shop Truck"
36 Coupe
57 Ford, This was a big job getting all the stuff to fit in!
37 Pickem Up. Chopped, channeled over a stepped frame. Injected Y Block powered
Heres the latest thing.
From This:
Whoopsie!
Im in trouble:
Hey, looks like a car again
All shiny and flashy again

New models? Yup! Got a few done for the Rumble.. Just seen your mug on TV, Im guessing Greame will be most upset calling his sidetrim on the black merc pontiac stuff....its hand made baby! Greame (antique Auto Works) also built Adrians bare metal merc.

Howdy all, another HRI refugee here. Im one of the younger hot rodders on the net, at 16. Have been a hot rodder ever since i could walk, and am now planning/searching for bits for my first car, a channeled model A RPU. I live in a town called Diggers Rest, about 20 minutes from Melbourne, and around 2 minutes from Calder Park raceway. I have a website i've been doing for about three years : http://www.geocities.com/aushotrods, which I post pics from events I attend.
My dad has been into hot rods since about '61, I have some photos on my site from around 1964, taken at the then local dragstrip "Riverside Raceway". Very interesting to look at, some of the cars are still around today.
Here is what we get around in most of the time, when i can talk him into taking it out!
If not in the roadster, then this:
Roadster has a 351 Cleveland with 4 speed, 9 inch rear, wescott body on an original chassis. 4 bar front, ladder bar rear..leather interior..the 56 is basicly stock, but the motor is coming out and a 351 is going in one day, i am using the Y block in my RPU project.

Rodder's Roundtable / Aussie HRI plug being pulled

Hey guys and gals, another refugee from HRI. This would have to be one of the biggest stuff ups in Australian Hot Rodding history. The internet gives hot rodders the best way of communication, and they just shut the biggest Aussie hot rodding forum down!
Should I do an intro? I dont feel right posting without giving you guys a brief intro :?
