Rodder's Roundtable / A/C Issue
August 19, 2024, 02:47:08 PM
I have had a Vintage Air A/C unit in my coupe since 2003. This year, I began to have an issue with it. When I turn on any setting, it will run for about 2 minutes and then shut off. In addition, the relay for the fan produces a click sound even when it is not engaged. I replaced the relay, but it does the same thing. Any ideas on what this problem could be? Or what to look for?

Andy instilled a love of car building in his son, too. Roy Brizio builds some pretty nice street rods. RIP.

If I was looking for a project, I could be interested depending on the body's inner structure. That is not shown in the photos.

Mike, a friend from high school, saw a cartoon I drew of my '59 Chevy and asked me if I would do one for his '69 Torino Cobra. I did this in PhotoShop rather than freehand since my hand isn't as steady as it used to be. He was pleased with the result.

I also let my subscriptions to magazines lapse. I get the member magazines for GoodGuys and NSRA, so I see the ads for parts and can read an occasional article. If I need to know something, I go online and search for it.

He was a true icon. He even inspired The Beach Boys' song, "Spirit of America."

The RRT and Chevy High Performance are the two sites I go to for information. Many thanks for keeping this site active and for all of you who make this site great. One thing you can say about the RRT, there is never any nasty posts here. That's refreshing.

Some amazing work went into that car. The results speak for themselves.
