Yesterday we went down to Townsend (population 2000) southwest of helena for their Fall Fest.  325 cars was the official count and not to long after I got there, I saw this car driving in.  Many of you probably remember it from lots of magazine coverage.  The young guy that brought it said he had been watching it since he was a kid.  A couple of months ago, his brother called him up and said that car he had always talked about was on Bring a trailer.  So he managed to get it, and it now lives just east of me. Sorry I cannot get my picture to load, so sent you all to the web page of the car,

The little town I live in has only Post Office Boxes.  This causes much problems with ordering on line, since most don't let you know how they are going to deliver.  The only time I get a notice ordering, is when the vender says they can't deliver to a PO Box.  Most of the time the Post Office here will not transfer a street address to the PO box, so the stuff gets tossed, yes, that is what they do, not send it back to the sender.  So I makes sure I get tracking on everything and run to the PO as soon as tracking shows arrival.  One of the guys told me to put #xxx after the street address on everything.  xxx is my po box.  Things are working much better now since I have started adding that.

I got stuck on watching Highway Patrol this morning.  Neat 55 Oldsmobile that  one of the cops drove.

I have a few of the old Craftsman tool 19.2v, found a couple of replacement batteries, that do not claim to be Craftsman and the seem to work ok.  The only tool of them that I use with any regularity is the cordless vac.

My wife has had trigger finger surgery on 8 fingers I think, and carpel tunnel surgery on both hands. She is happy with the results.  My daughter has had the carpel tunnel on both hands, no trigger finger.  My mother-in-law had Carpel tunnel on both hands before she passed.  Looks like it is a family issue.

Montana allowed lane splitting a couple of years ago.  Last week I was sitting at a lite in the left lane and it turned green.  Before I could even move a Harley came from 2 cars behind and blew by me. Wasn't ready for him.

We made it back from the GNRS, great show.  What miserable weather down and back.  LOTS of rain both ways.  Snow started just south of Monida pass between Montana and Idaho going home.  Ice on the Montana side until Dillon 75 miles or so, 40mph at best. Then melting until the top of Boulder hill, 30 miles outside of Helena.  Ice and snow until home.

Getting ready to head down to the Grand National Roadster Show on Thursday morning early. It is about a 1200 mile drive down there.  We are having late spring weather up here, it was 62 degrees in Great Falls yesterday, so not getting the big weather change by going down this year.  Might even be worse weather down there that up here.

I do use my Costco Credit card for Hotels when I travel, so that helps the total a bit.

My check next month will be just under $400.

We are getting the cold from Canada today. It is 6 degrees right now, and -24 tonight.  They are calling for -50 in wind chill, the weathermen love wind chill.

We are finally getting some cold, and possibly snow coming, starting tomorrow.  First time since October.  We are at 40% snowpack at best so far this winter.
