I heard oven cleaner will remove anodizing but have never tried it myself.

Rodder's Roundtable / Lets talk batterys
March 26, 2007, 03:33:29 PM
I run a DynaBatt in my Model A, it sounds similar to the Oddesy.
The Batt is 4years old and hasn't missed a beat, even when it was down
with the motor out of it for several months.

I have a dry cell from NTB in my other car, very similar to the Optima, no problems with them either.

I have that same leveler, an air ratched works wonders to level the motor.
Much easier than a wrench.

Rodder's Roundtable / Brake system question
January 11, 2007, 08:40:22 AM
With my TCI line lock I can flip the switch with no brakes on and roll, then hit the brakes and stop the car and it stays stopped. It acts like a check valve, not a positive stop.
Would you plumb it in backwards for the rear to make it work??

Rodder's Roundtable / Demon Carbs
October 23, 2006, 11:05:16 AM
I have one on my shopping list when I get my 383 in my ElCamino.
I've heard great things about Demon..... Performance of a Holly and the
simplicity of a Edelbrock.

I need to pay more attention. Is there a way to make the PM thing flash
at me, perhaps a small shock through the mouse?
Sorry I missed you.

Rodder's Roundtable / Tomslik - Traction Devices
July 06, 2006, 09:56:34 AM
Those are Cal-Trac bars. I was going to build some for my Stude
until I discovered there was no room at the front spring mount.
I ended up using an overload spring that bolts under the spring pack underneath the front of the leafs to stiffen it up.
It fixed most of my wrap up problem and only cost $24.99 .

Rodder's Roundtable / How do you manage to take pictures of progress
June 23, 2006, 05:07:31 PM
I like taking progress pictures, my problem is the mess.
I can't stand a mess and want to clean everything before taking any
pictures, including the background where my tools are laying.
if I post a progress pic with tools in the background they were probably
posed.
My name is TZ and I have a problem.
