I just took my fenders to Line-X to have the underside sprayed with their product to keep rocks from causing damage to the paint job.

Well least you got to take your car out on a nice ride with some good friends. You drove by my old employer, I worked at the Caterpillar dealer on 61 north just out of Natchez for 20 years.

Rodder's Roundtable / 1938 Natchez Trace

Honk your horn for me when you get to Natchez. I lived there for 37 years before I moved to south Florida. Once I get my truck on the road I am going to make a trip up thru there and drive the trace up to Nashville. That is one beautiful drive along the Natchez Trace.

Rodder's Roundtable / Hurricane
September 16, 2004, 09:26:10 AM
I sure feel for them and will have them in my prayers. I am in Florida, where we took a direct hit from Frances, two weeks later we are still cutting trees, picking up shingles and what is left of our screen rooms. Good news is all my family and friends are OK and my truck is OK

I thought I might try and post a few pictures of my truck. It is a 1937 Ford, 350 Chevy, 400 Trans and 68 Corvette rear.

Quote from: "an4itio"Hi Root, guess I am the lurker that Dirk35 is talking about. Had a hurricane come a little close so I haven't been online for a few days. My truck is a 37, it is not on the road yet but getting closer.

Yup. Love your truck David.  A bit high tech, but it sure is a good color! And super nice work also. You get your doors on yet?

Thanks Dirk, Not sure bout the high tech. Yep I got the doors on, got the bed and rear fenders on, it is starting to look like a truck now. Just painted the front fenders, I hope to get them on soon. I will try to send you a few up dated pictures.
