Quote from: "OldSub"Funny thing.  Yesterday I parked next to a Viper at the local car show.  The guy showed his book of pictures of the car, and one of them was of then gubnatorial candidate Sara Palin.

She must be a car girl at heart.  That means much more to me than eating moose or being an NRA member.
Although this form of "racing" isn't my cup of tea, I have to admire the next VP for being a car person. Did you know she started drifting 6 years ago and had her own car built? At the very least you know she's not a tree hugger and isn't afraid to burn some hydrocarbons.

I have a set of Craftsman wrenches from my grandfather. I don't know how long they've been selling them, but I'm guessing these are from the 40's. There's no chrome vanadium on these wrenches....

Merry Christmas from the Vintage Rod Components family. Here's hoping your stockings are heavy and filled to the top with car parts.

Rodder's Roundtable / A quicky introduction from the FNG

Thanks for the welcome!
I'm building a blown 426 hemi. I bought a pair of NOS Mickey Thompson valve covers and am looking for a M/T or Cragar 6-71 blower intake  to keep the look I'm after. I'd post a pic, but can't until I have more than 5 posts.

I've lurked a bit, but not posted and figured it's time. I sold my '23 a couple months ago, so the oldest vehicle I currently have is 1963. I'll be building another project soon, but am doing it a bit differently this time. I'm starting with the engine I want and when it's built, I'll decide what to put it in.
Good to be out of the shadows
