Denise, that would be me, Bill Drake, in the Indy 2002 2.jpg shot between BobK and FatCat. I guess I should stop lurking so much over here and post a bit more.

Rodder's Roundtable / Re: Street Rod of the Year

I was at the debut of this car at Troy's last month, I like it. I like subtle modifications and the color works for me on this car. As for that color, it is a stock underhood color from some import model. The front spreader bar is curved to match the rear one, as is the windshield. Nickel plating was used instead of chrome and it is a steel body. Little things like alternator wiring run through tubing that is formed and bolted to the oil pan make this car.

I'm an illustrator/artist working at Purdue University to pay the bills, play around with some hotrod art on the side. Building my truck keeps me in the garage so drawing board time has been pretty short lately.

I know a few sculptures sculpting rods and customs too. :D

Hi Frank, The shops a little messy right now with truck parts spread all over the place. Yea the avatar is the 65, the color is Nassau Blue. Not my favorite color blue but that's what the tags say it should be.

I thought I'd take the opportunity of the new list, Thanks Fat Cat, to reintroduce myself. I've been around a long time, my third RRT board, but usually don't post a lot. Currently working hard on my 1937 Ford pickup to hopefully have road ready by spring. I've done everything so far other than some frame welding and bending a few parts. Currently getting blown back a part and doing final bodywork, going to go in primer for a while before painting. Well that should do it since were all here for the cars.

Might as well try linking to a pic while I'm at it.
