Quote from: "Rex Schimmer"Drop me a PS and I'll give you my phone no. When I did my track roadster I started with some Speedway 32 fram rails and the first thing I did was cut the front and rear frame horns off! So I have a set laying around in my shop. As far as I am concerned they are free but I won't pay the frieght. You have PM .. thanx

I got it, printed it out, and will look for the guys. If they are wandering around, I will have my AquaMarine 65 Impala, and should be parked next to a Black 64 Galaxy with a tri power 428 SCJ. Sorry about your Father in law.

I've won a 350GM crate, a TH350, a BBQ, and a $500 cert for whls or tires. How you doin.Quote from: "nomobux"Could you give me the height of the Hughes 700r4 Alum pan. Top to bott. I need to ck grnd clearance TIA
we manufacture 2 aluminum pans for the 700 tranny.
Deep for truck / SUV type applications , shallow for the F bodys, corvettes, street rods.
I am on vacation this week , so I can only measure a deep pan since I have one here at the house.
If you want the shallow measurement.... call 1-800-274 - RACE , ask for Mike or Matt..... tell em Tony the tranny builder sent you

June 30, 2005, 07:51:12 AMQuote from: "1FATGMC"Burn Out Bob and Peggy Sue spent the night in Blanding. Julie and I got to spend a couple hours with them last night and got to see them take off this morning.
What a nice couple and one of the prettiest cars I've seen in a while. It sits just right.
(It is the roadster with the whitewalls in the middle of the picture--the picture was taken by George, one of our staff photographers )
They had a hood latch fail and the hood came off going across the Navajo Nation south of us. He was able to hold it back on with some bailing wire he found along side the road (no joke) . He bought some bunge straps here and wrapped them around the hood also. He didn't want to mess with it more than that until he gets home.
Home in Oregon will be a ways down the road as they are on their way to Pennsylvania to visit a daughter and then home to Oregon. They are taking the back roads and just doing 200-400 miles a day and having fun.
Anyway they said to say hi to everyone.
c ya, Sum
I met B.O.B & P.S. about 4 years ago in Wenatchee Wa. Great people 'cept he about broke my * hand shaken. What a grip!! Then he stopped by last year on his way to Alaska. Anyone see's him down the road, tell him Lloyd won the trans and GM crate last wk-end at the Apple Run.

Rodder's Roundtable / Starting ???
February 28, 2005, 08:25:05 AM
Ok .. Cables are good / clean / everything tight. Ran the car in the shop for a half hour to build some heat / ran park lites / stereo / fan kick on a couple times. Shut it off, hit the key and CLICK. Could leave my hand on the starter without pain. Took a batt pack and jumped it on the batt side of the master switch. Started rite up. The + cable is only a foot long from the batt to the master and is good. The master is good, so I'm assuming my 70 mo. batt which is 18 monthes old has gone south. Make sense ??

Glass 32 .. 350 sbc .. This prob stared about 1 yr ago. It with crank over and run for weeks at a time and suddenly, when you hit the key all you get is sel. clicks. Jump it and off you go. You can shut it down and fire right back up. No probs for along time and then BAM, it does it again. Did it with the old batt and new batt. Did it with the old starter and new mini. Everything is tight. Letting it set doesn't change it ( as far as cooling down ) It can do it first thing in the am or after driving. I'm baffeled. Any ideas ? TIA

I like spending other peoples money ! Now the next thing i want is front wheels like yours and different rear wheels also. I cant remember what your running on the rear but im thinking the ETIII on the rear and the 12 spoke fronts. Its that or i may try painted smoothies or painted spokes. Just to do sumpin different by changing em out once and a while. Ill prolly keep my americans. No hurry but down the road i think it would be fun.

I think you'll like the booster. Didn't have it on the 31 PU, love it on the 32 w/wilwood 4 whl disc. My Dakota has intermitant brake noise as does my wifes Neon grocery getter, but Ive heard it's a Dodge thing. Good luck on gettin Bambi !
