At Sunday's awards ceremony, the NSRA announced that the NSRA has signed a two-year contract to keep the Nat's North going. The event director added that as long as he is the event director, he will keep them going beyond two years. Next year's dates are September 19-21, 2025.

Yes, only about 130 miles. Going a day early and heading a few miles north of the host hotel to LeClair, IA for lunch and stop in at the American Pickers.

Accidentally came across two old police shows on YouTube, both from 1957. One is based on LA County Sheriff files called "Code 3". The other stars veteran actor Wendell Corey called "Harbor Command" about the exploits of the San Francisco harbor patrol. Pretty cool shows.

Crosley, if you have a torn rotator cuff, get it fixed soon. I was told most can't be repaired if a total tear after 6-12 months. I put a repair off and wound up with a reverse total shoulder replacement. Reverse in that the "ball" of the joint is attached to the shoulder and the socket to the upper arm bone.

Eastwood has a spray chrome process. A friend used it on the grills of his '41 Ford and it looks great. It's like a 3-4 step process. Looks like real chrome.

1,079 registered rods. Talked to an NSRA official that said vendors are down because of the internet. Why pay employees and space fees and fuel costs when most people order parts on line. Next year's dates are later, September 20, 21 and 22.

Correct, to make it easier to find me, I also have gray hair and a gray goatee. That should help narrow it down.🤣

Getting the '48 Ford coupe ready for the 300 mile ride to Frog Follies on Thursday. Really looking forward to cruising there with 7 or 8 of my fellow club members. Gonna be a hot one (well it is the Frog Follies) so if you're going please stay hydrated. Water and Gatorade should be in your coolers. Two weeks after Frogs, cruising to Kalamazoo.

I have a firewall mounted master on my '48 Ford and had the same on my old '46 Chevy and only had the proportioning valve pictured. Never needed a check valve or separated proportioning valve.
