Rodder's Roundtable / Jay Carine AKA C9 Passed Away
November 24, 2009, 07:26:54 AM
I too am feeling numb.

As soon as Carps shot this picture he joined me and Jay in the roadster and we blasted off towards the orange groves, where Jay simply stopped in the middle of the road, got out and said to Carps, "Your turn."

That's a memory I know Carps will never, ever forget and I can still see the smile of both their faces as Jay told him not to hold back on the throttle.

Ian "Datsfa' Shaw's funeral service will be held this Thursday 20th April at Cranbourne followed by a cruise to The Necropolis at Springvale.

Service commences around 10:00am.

I'll post more details as they are confirmed.  Should appear in Melbourne Herald Sun tomorrow (Tuesday 18th).

I have always found it quite strange that people who would step on board an aeroplane without question, are worried that similar technology when used in an automobile, might somehow blow a fuse and cease to function correctly.   :?

Sounds just like Carp's car.  I always had it down as the driver being out of balance.

Sounds like an invitation if ever I heard one, is it OK if I bring Carps too?

Rodder's Roundtable / car songs
April 03, 2005, 10:49:26 PM
One of the best songs for driving to is by Dave Dee, Dozey, Beaky, Mick and Tich, titled "Legend of Xanandu".

Of course anything by Stevie Ray Vaghan, with the volume cranked up and windows closed, makes driving alone, pure pleasure.
