Rodder's Roundtable / Willys parts required
July 03, 2006, 09:25:01 PM
Great, thanks for that, the amount of Willys on the road in New Zealand you can count on one hand and still have fingers left, so the hotrod parts suppliers don't carry anything for them. I have only seen two steel ones here ever and they were not running and rough.
                                                               Cheers.

More Kiwi's from New Zealand heading your way.Coming over October for the NHRA drags at Las Vegas, then heading back to LA for Goodguys Gas and Fuel Champs, then NHRA racing at Pomona with a heap of stops in between. My plan is to be taking plenty of photos of this trip and was wondering what voltage your power supply is,as we are 240 volt here and was told your 110 volt over there, whether its more cost effitive to buy another charger to suit the lower voltage or Iv'e been told camera batterys are really cheap to buy there also memory sticks for the camera are supposed to be reasonably priced. Its a Kodak DX4330 camera.
Man,I can't wait,10 weeks out and I'm dreami'n about the trip already, its worse than waiting for santa on Christmas morning,(oops did I say that out loud) :D

Wow,I never thought I'd see one of these on here,my dad loved them, so mum, both my brothers and I all had them as first cars.Although mine was a pickup model which we transplanted a Nissan/Datsun 1200 motor/trans/and rear axle which really made it fly.

With a plywood floor glassed into the body New Zealand laws mean we have to anchor through to the frame for seats and seat belt mounts also steel framing and side intrusion bars are now mandotory in fibreglass cars

Rodder's Roundtable / Aussie Kustom

These make a cool custom alright. Theres one here in NZ that when photographed looks like a 49 merc, untill someone stands next to it and its about 3/4 size but still way cool.It has FJ Holden front guards grafted onto it as well. All the best with your project, you have a good start there.

Rodder's Roundtable / Parts records, notes, labels

Yeah,I keep all the receipts in a box as well in case I need to replace a part. Don't plan to collate it all as I'd then find the true cost of my build instead of living blissfully in my world of denial.
