I had a heart attack in April. I had a couple of my friends tell me about their experiences with their heart attacks. They both told me to watch for indigestion associated with exertion. Their advise saved my life. I encountered those symptoms and went in and I received two stents. Back to normal now with some light meds.
If any of you suspect anything wrong go in early. It makes a huge difference for recovery.

So now I work on my never ending project, hotrod, and enjoy every moment of it.

Actually, I had the same problem trying to post pics last week

Taxpyr  the aerostar rotors fit your econoline hubs. They may require a little clearancing on the hub OD to fit inside the rotor but that could even be an angle grinder job.They are the same bolt pattern. If you would like,  let me get mine working and I could copy the caliper bracket for you. Then the job would be a bolt on for you.I have $211 into calipers pads and rotors so far. ($50 core charge to get back yet).The speedway parts cost about $50 with shipping and exchange so all in it will cost about $250 with new bearings and seals.

Started my engine last week for first time,,,,,,, starting other mock ups as well.

For anyone wondering about the brackets I got from speedway motors ,they are part # 91641009 @ $9.99 each. The calipers I got were from an 85 Camaro w /5.5" bolt spacing. The rotors are 90 -97 aerostar  awd .I just got my spindles to fit the axle tonight, had to machine up a cutter to face off material to get the econoline spindles to fit the 39-48 ford application axle .Now I will be modifying the caliper brackets for use on my spindles .I will keep you posted on how it is going.I will likely have to machine a bit off the OD of the econoline hubs to fit the new rotors .

Thanks for the info Chimp, I'm still undecided on whether to go for the disc or stay with the drums as I want to retain the 4.5" bolt pattern.  Aside from looks I really can't see much benefit when the drums are so beefy.................... Thanks again.

Funny isn't it taxpayer , we never seem to have time for the hobbies. I just got back to working on mine and finished the steering arms for my econoline spindles .I had not found the time to work on it since may . I have always had a problem posting pictures because I have no idea what to do. My daughter will be home in about a week and I will try to get her to show me again how to post pictures. The body is in my home shop and the frame is at my work.SBC/T350/8" , 4" drop tube axle and 4 bar setup . I will be using coilovers all around .I got a lot done (for me) on the frame last year ,motor and trans mounts ,centre bracing,rear panhard,running board mounts, and a modified rack(92 escort) and mounts to go unisteer. Then real life hit and I had to put away the toy .I have a bit of fiddling around to get the spindles on this axle but my goal is to have the front end brakes and steering done before the summer.

I am running pretty much the same with the econoline spindles but I am staying with the drum brakes. At 2.5x10 drums they should be very good. I have a '23 glass body with metal box it will be a functional pickup.
Boy do I know about the "real life thing" I've rebuilt half dozen cars and farm equipment but now it's the T's time. I'll look forward to some build pics and try to put some up at my end too.

Phat rat , are you planning on a 27 T coupe build? I almost got to work on mine today until my daughter called and needed her battery boosted.

I had a fuel problem once, during construction of an old jeep I was doing I stuffed that blue paper towel in the neck to keep the dirt out etc. It was about a year after I had it on the road it would sputter and die when I hit bumps etc, and yes, you guessed it, a nice big square of the blue towel floating around inside the tank, it would plug things up, not all the time just every now and then,,,,,, thing is it never even disintegrated or anything actually the towel was even usable after it had dried after a year soaking in gasoline........ :oops: I hate those problems     :evil:

I'm sorry but I found the video inspiring at first but wayyyy to real at the last...... somewhat depressing to say the least....... but if you're a car executive who's 35 it might seem entertaining.

Just out of curiosity, did I miss out on the Essex pickup build?  I'm one to talk, 36 years and my T isn't finished yet. You know how life and love gets in ones way.    I have two Essex sedans and I am interested in this build.

Everything I own is old so I deal with this problem every now and then. I've found that "Marine Clean" by POR works great to get the red !@#$ out of the tank.
The alcohol in the gas these days will break down old fuel residue and also it's hydroscopic and will allow water to invade your fuel system if the car is sitting alot. I use a fuel stabilizer to counteract that. This is a very common problem but once the red is gone you should be trouble free. I had it so bad I couldn't keep fuel filters in my truck but it eventually cleaned up. That was when they first started putting alcohol in the gas. I did a POR tank treatment system in an old (60 yr) Jeep and the problem was gone instantly.
